It doesn't look like it. I looked on their site, and see nothing about "free" anymore.
I have Continuum Complete 2024, so Particle Illusion is there as a plugin and standalone.
It would appear not.
I have Continuum, Sapphire, Silhouette Standalone+plugin, Mocha Pro Standalone+plugin & Optics, for a while I had the Adobe licence options also (Full suite as it was then) but I also always installed the free PI, on one of the recent updates (prob a Continuum update) I've updated PI thinking I'm just installing the free version but it turns out I've got the standalone version that will import & render a video background. Don't really know why, what n how but not complaining 🤷♂️😊
@Gid, with Continuum Complete, you get the plugin for PI and the standalone version too that will import video.
That was talked about in the Boris forum somewhere a long time ago when people were trying to figure out how to get video into the free version. You can get an image, but not a video..
