Paste Attributes - not identified?

OK ..

Gotta a neat FX on one clip. Do my usual Copy Paste Attributes - here to a Sample Text event - the FX shows nicley BUT the fact that I've "Paste Attributes" doesn't show as a Lit "plugin" on the Sample Text event. Not only does it not show, but because of this I can't alter, tweak, adjust this FX on this Sample Text . . Why? and more to the point without ACTUALLY selecting the FX I can't do any adjustments? Anybody else getting this? Well not getting this!?

Not 100% Grazie, but any copy and paste attributes works for me and i can adjust as I please.
ANNOYING is the title bar on FX gos to un-titled so you never know what you have selected.
