I'm trying to cut and paste a text event between two open instances of Vegas5. I select and copy the event from instance 1 - then when I rt. click PASTE or CTL+V on a timeline in instance 2, instance 2 closes immediately, without the paste taking effect. I've rebooted the computer to no avail. This happens even when I try pasting into a new project, with no other events present. Any ideas why this is happening? It's really putting a dent in my workflow.
