Pausing in the Same Place

Hey, I used to be able to pause the video in one place, and the time ruler would stay right where I paused it, but now the settings got changed, and I cannot remember how to change it back.
I am a noob!

If I correctly understand what you are asking, then it is in Options/Preferences/General tab/ "Make space bar and F12 play/pause instead of play/stop". Check mark that option.
