Hello and thank you,
I have created and exported a 3d background in poser. I saved the file as a png and wish to use it as a background for titles and credits. Easy so far, right?
What size should I bring it in to Vegas as?
I am rendering a wmv for the web at 512,
a mov for the web
and an NTSC DVD High Def
Is this possible or should I bring in three seperate png's ?
Thank you,
Marty

If it's for DV, you want either 654 x 480 or 720 x 534, depending on how you'd like to scale your pix. Vegas will appropriately stretch the image. Rendering from there, you'll be able to create any size you'd like, except for the HiDef. Keep in mind, currently DVDs can't deliver HiDef, unless you use a codec like the Nero AVC and include their player, or have a set top player that can decode AVC.

Great info!
8 gig DVD both sides working should catch feature length films with problem. The DL would be better for the consumer. I want to have rendering syntax that adjust and pulls data from the model and arrives at a very close fit for the target.

Also I want my wife to stop hitting me, but she is bigger than I am so I don't believe I have much hope in that catagory.
if anyone wants her I will pay you a weeks salary to run off with her, as long as you promise not to bring her back.
In other words there is a no return policy at my store. So look hard at her, kick the tires some but if you drive her off the lot, she belongs to you. Just Keep a going...
