I have Movie Studio 8 and I am doing Croma Key and it works good.

But I make my Photo 655x480 in my Image Editor and the Video that will go behind it is 720x480 Widescreen .AVi.

As you can gess the Photo is Higher then the Video.

So what sould I make my Photo so they are both the same size?

And yes I know Photos use Diferant Pixel size but it must match the Widescreen video.

Thank you.

What I ment was if I want to make a Graphic to Fit a 4:3 Video size I make it 655x480.

But if I want to make a Graphic to Fit a 16:9 Video seiz what do I make it?

Yes all your help was good thank you for the time.

Now I did google Aspact Ratios for Graphics to be made and used on Video Screens.

One WebSite says a Graphic to be used on a 16:9 Widescreen DV Video sould be 720x576 Pixals.

Now I have a Video that is Widescreen DV 16:9 720x480 and if I put this Graphic ontop of the Video and want it to cover all of it sould I make the Graphic 720x576?

Or am I off?

Best thing to do is to set up a 16:9 widescreen projet, set the preview to "best/full", and save a still image snapshot. Open that still image file in your photo editor and see what size it is. This is the size you should be using for your picture.

ps. You'll find that it's 873x480. And yes, 655x480 is correct for 4:3 projects.

Thanks for the acknowledgement.

It's good forum etiquette to post back a simple "thank you" or "that worked, thanks" to let those that helped you know that your issue has been resolved. It also lets those that view your topic afterwards know that the suggestions worked and can help them as well.

Thank you again but I just want to ask if I am going to use wrong numbers?

I found on the Net they say if you want your Graphic to cover a 720x480 DV 16:9 Widescreen I will have to make my Graphic 853x480 Pixals.

And if I want my Graphic to cover a 720x480 DV 4:3 Standarad I will make my Graphic 720x540 Pixals.

Will these numbers work I see your numbers are diferant?

Here's where i'll pop in with my old standby and say, "you could have tried those numbers yourself to see which ones work faster than you could have posted the question here in the forum."

OK this is what I did.

I Imported a Widescreen DV 16:9 Video and my Previue Screen is set to Auto.

Then I go to File then Properties then Match Media Settings and pick the same Video I just Imported.

Then I click Take Snapshot and save it to my Desktop.

The image is 870x480 Pixals and you told me 853x480 so I gess my Video is Wider but will it still work good or what sould I do to be Safe?
