Photo resolution

I am working on a video using all photo stills. I am wondering at what resolution I need to have the photos at to get the best results. My finished product will be seen on TV and on a big screen projected from a computer. Do I need different resolution for each medium? The resolution info I need advise on is width, height and dpi of the still image.

Thanks

David

dpi is meaningless in video; don't even worry about it.

The appropriate size for the images is 655x480 (if you're in NTSC territory) or 720x576 (If you're in PAL territory). As long as your pictures are this size or larger VideoFactory will scale them to the right size when it renders. If you want to do some zooming and panning you can scan them quite a bit larger so that you can zoom in without losing quality.
