photo scanner question for vegas 4

What is a better import for vegas, jpeg, jpeg progressive or png?

My last project I imported as jpegs files and had to use a progressive render to elliminate interlace flicker...but would I have to if I used a progressive jpeg?

Earlier this year, I started using png format at the suggestion of others here. They seem to be just about perfect.

I use photoshop and use straight photoshop files and they look great in Vegas

stick with a lossless or uncompressed file if possible.

.png is what is most recommended.

Most recommend png because you can set transparency levels, which is essential to how Vegas works.
