You may be able to pull the VOB file from the DVD to the timeline. If this works, change the preview window to Full / Best, then position the cursor on each photo and click the floppy disk icon above the preview window to save a still image to a file. Repeat for each photo.

What's the VOB file and how do you get to it.

Look in the VIDEO_TS directory on the disc. There will probably be several VOB files. Try the largest one first.

Thanks for your help.
I was able to drag the file to the timeline...thera are 60 photos and a get one frame for each photo. So it's very hard to grab a frame and amnipulate it. I need to do a lot of pan and crop effects to the stills. Any ideas on how to grab a frame and make around 5 seconds long?
Thanks again.

Just drag the edge to 5 seconds.

When I drag the edge of the frame I want the clip gets extended and the rest of the still show up. I guess I have to freeze each frame and then extend it.
It's a pain in the A...
But I don't know any other way...I asked the producer for a CD with PNG photos. I hope I get them soon.

Did you try saving the frames as still images with the floppy disk button?

I've never done it...I'm not sure what's the procedure.

Place the cursor on the first frame so that it shows up in the preview window. Make sure the preview is set for Full / Best. Click the floppy disk icon. Enter a file name (or leave the default Image0). Save. Move to the next frame. Repeat until done.
