Photos>VCD>DVD>TV ---How to?

I want to scan in 35mm slides, burn them on a VideoCD, Play the VCD in a DVD player so I can view them as a slide show on my home TV. What tools do I need to do this?
Does VideoFactory have all of the capability to do this?

Yes, it will do everything you want. You can use text and the pan/crop tool for creating motion in your videos. With a little creativity, it's possible to achieve truly amazing videos.

If you want SVCD, you'll need the $30 plugin (or you can use TMPGenc) for encoding to MPEG2 and another authoring program.
