You put the two videos on a separate track, on top of each other. Put the video you want to make smaller on the top video track. And then you use the "Track Motion" little icon on the top track's controls, on the left of the timeline. The new window that opens lets you resize the video to make it smaller on top of the video below it.

Eugenia, Thank you for the assistance. I am slowly moving over to Vegas from Cinestream and know that anything I could do there I can do here, and better. Now I have to learn how to title using vertically scrolling text. I am sure that can happen. Have a great day. Goldigger

Go the Generated Media tab, and use one of the templates there for scrolling text.

Cinestream was a GREAT editor and the first one I used. When it was obvious it was a dead product (after going through three owners in one year), I chose to switch to Vegas (10 years ago). I had to FORCE myself to complete the first project in Vegas - once I did, though, I never looked back.

Eugenia, Once again you came to the rescue. Thanks. Maybe I need more help. At this point in time I cannot get any outline or shadows on the letters in the scrolling text. Is that possible? I can only find a solid color. Thanks again.

One way to get scrolling text w/ outline and shadow is to create your text in a text editor and paste it into the media generated text.

Be sure to reduce the size of the font before you paste the list.
Set the length of the credit scroll
Change the values of the "Y" coordinates to start at say +7, move the Key Frame to the end and set the "Y" value to around -7

Your text should scroll up. Reverse the "Y" settings if you want the text to scroll down

Now add your outline and shadow effects to the credits.

NOTE: This method does require more processing power so the preview may be jerkey
