Picture-in-picture and Crop OFX-Plug-in

The new video FX Picture-in-picture and Crop are supposed to simplify the work flow. If I use them as a video event FX, there is no acceptable frame rate in the preview window possible. This is largely independent of the format used. Sometimes the picture stands for seconds during playback. With Track Motion and Pan / Crop, as in the past, playback is smooth. Maybe it works better with other graphics cards (here VP15 Build 216, AMD R9 380, Win 7). Can anybody confirm this?
