Picture in Picture Event Tool - v16 Platinum

Nick-Hawker wrote on 4/20/2020, 4:27 PM

Hi - I'm trying to understand re-positioning and resizing a photograph (not video) on the Picture in a Picture time line. If I want to do it for the entire project it works fine but when I try to do it just for the event the picture, instead of filling the entire element box just fills part of it. Can anybody help? It's driving me mad!

You say Picture in Picture timeline, but I think you mean the P in P track.
On that track you can place things that can be resized or moved in the bigger screen of your video as here

If you don't want it pops up on another screen of video do not use that track and delete it.

As the Picture-in Picture track in VMS has also the possibility to get this PIP effect with trackmotion as shown by j-v. This track has already attached the PIP-FX by default too . The setting of the PIP FX is valid for the whole track, when there are no keyframes set for different settings! Alternative you can remove or disable the PIP FX of the PIP track and use the PIP FX as an event FX, means that every event on the PIP track can have it's own PIP FX with different settings. This is what I understand that Nick-Hawker is looking for.
