Picture in Picture Problem

Hi everyone, Sorry about this, but a newbie question coming. I'm tring to do a picture in picture, I have followed the directions from the manuel, I get the picture in picture but the smaller picture that I put in is not a full picture. It looks like it has 50% opacity,(looks see through) but I look at the settings and they are at 100%. I know that this is something simple and I'm going to kick my self, But I have can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. could someone please help. Thanks in advance.

Go to Vegas Tips, Tricks, and Scripts and look at issues 2, 3, and 4. The feature article in those newsletters deals with PIPs.

Just select events/trim window (right click on event and select from drop down menu). Reduce your zoom view until you have small thumbnail. Grab the handles on the thumbnail and set picure to desired size and placement on the screen. That's all there is to it. If you want you can do the tutorial that came with Vegas. It goes through the process.
