Picture show in Vegas

DVDA seems to limited to transistions between photos and editing adio to match pictures (unless I am missing something), so I planned on using Vegas for my trip just back form Europe.

A couple of questions:

1) After I drop in all my photos on a Vegas track, how do I edit them all to be a default time length?. That is I can edit each individually ( and soem I may change), but lets say I want the majority of them ot be 4 sec. How do I adjust all of them at once?

Any other suggestions for using Vegas in this mode, such as tutorials or am I approaching this wrong?

Joe

Options>Prefs>Editing, default still length sets the length of each image. From there you can overlap them, drop transitions, use a script to alternate transitions, use a script to create motion, or make motion/pan by hand.
You can also use markers to set beat points and match your images to the marker points with the media to markers script.
You can also use the Neon script to match the length of all images if they are already on the timeline

Excalibur has the Duration Wizard which will adjust the length of multiple images on the timeline. Neon also has some neat tools you can use with adding motion to your images such as the PBS wizard.
