No, you can't....However, what you can do is this: create multiple menu pages with your slides. This way, each "slide" is on it's own page, and you can have arrows between pages that you can navigate with.

OK.
Is there a limit for the number of menu pages (say I want 400 pictures...)

Just a suggestion but the pause button on the remote would work just as well wouldn't it? You could set each picture as a chapter and hit the next button to go to it and then pause.

Have a good day!!!

No, there is no limit on the # of pages. However, the total size of the menus must not exceed 1 Gb. At approximately 1 Mb per picture, this is about 1000 pictures.

Can you put transitions between slides?

Not in version 1.0 of DVD Architect.

NOTE: THIS IS AN OLD POST - Just wondering if that's different now? Or do I have to have each pic be a chapter, etc...

Nope. Picture compilations haven't changed at all since DVDA1.

I disagree on the later point, if you were answering on that too Rob> Transitions would be possible with any version of DVDA, but more elegant/ergonomic with DVDA2 or DVDA3.

Fundamentally Button actions/programming has opened up the possibility of transition videos playing between menu based slides. Whilst the menu would still be restricted to the 1GB, the transistions could eat away at the remaining 3+ or 7+ GB.

Easier to do if you use "Play/Enter/Go" for the navigational control key (and arrow to move across to the other direction, and then go back to "Play/Enter/Go" for stepping through). Rather more difficult if you want to just use arrow directions to step through.
