Pinnacle Dazzle 100

I have been using Pinnacle software to capture VHS tapes. I would prefer to use the Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite. I have a Dazzle 100 interface. Can someone please suggest a method of doing this - with or without the Dazzle box?

I always connect to a converter such as the Canopus ADVC series which will allow you to connect the vcr to the device and output firewire to the computer. Then just capture as standard DV into Vegas via firewire.

Dazzle is not considered compatible with Sony firewire capture.
In addition to the ADVC option mentioned above, you could grab a Canon ZR camcorder at the Goodwill and use the A->D Passthrough. The tape transport doesn't need to work as long as it fires up.

Or just continue to capture with the current method but edit the resultant video with VMS.
