Pioneer 104 and DVD-A

Ok I have both Sony 110 and the Pioneer 104, I made a short (4min) and burned it. Sony did fine with +rw but the Pioneer failed with -r. My question is, does DVD-A turn on burn proof for the pioneer. There is no option for turning it on or off in DVD-A.
My other DVD applications require turning on burn proof.

I have 104 burns without any problems. Make sure you have the latest firmware for the Pioneer and get the update file from SF by calling customer support. This should fix your problem.
