I just read on the dazzle forum that owners of Pioneer DVD-R and RW's (A04, 104,A03, 103, etc.) need to update the firmware to handle the new DVD standards of 2X and 4X DVD-R and DVD-RW's. It will not let you write faster, but will save your DVD and writer from getting trashed...
