You say doesn't quite give you two true full isze feeds.
I cannot quite determine what you're expecting to get versus what you are getting but if you split 720x480 you'll get 360x480 and end up with a different aspect ration. Best you can hope for is 360x240 but you'll possibly loose a bit off the edges so you might need to shrink that a bit more.
Alternative is to pan and/or crop the source so it fits into the odd sized frames.

I found this by searching "How to make a split screen". By following Gary's instructions, I can only get one split screen, either the right or the left, by changing the type of compositing mode. I can't get the two split screens at the same time.
Another question I have is, how can you make the first video's right edge move to the center, and at the same time have the second piece of video follow the first from lef to right also, and fill the right side of the screen with a color border between the two videos.

Do you want something like this:

Yes, that would be the first part of the question, Thanks.
How do you do this?
And how do you do the moving edge and make the second video follow.
Thanks,

You could do this very easily with Track Motion. Just place the two source videos on two separate tracks. Open Track Motion on one track, change the size to 360x240, and physically position the video on the left. Open Track Motion on the other track, change the size to 360x240, and physically position the video on the right. That’s it.

You can make then slightly smaller if you want a space between them. If you want them to move together just make them both children of a third parent track and the use Track Motion on the parent track to add motion.
