Pixelan filters in V5

I'm just now getting around to playing with the six Pixelan filters included with V5.

There's a big "X" in the middle of the preview window when using these filters, so I assume there's something I need to do to activate the filters / deactivate the "X", but I'm clueless.

Were these filters included with V5 for actual use, or only as a demo to entice users to buy the full Pixelan package? If the former, how do I get rid of the "X"?

They are demos. To get rid of the "X" you need to purchase the plugins.
These are my faves. Between the Pixelan plugs and the Zenote plugs, I'm very, very happy.
Mike Crash's plugs are great too.
