I have an edited piece (Vegas) that is 2:25:00 in length. I cleared all previous prerendering, then used the Print to DV Tape selection on the "Tools" pull-down menu. I'm outputting, via Firewire, to a Sony DHR-1000 deck, and through the deck to a distrubition amplifier and ten VCRs.
This set up worked fine for the first five runs. When I started the sixth run there was quite a bit of pixelation -- small squares, very large squares -- and audio drop-out which accompanied the pixelation. So I cleared the prerendered files, re-rendered the piece and successfully put it out (via Firewire) to the SHR-1000 and on to the DA. No pixels, audio o.k.
Now, run 8, it's full of pixels and no amount of clearing and rerendering seems to change this. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? How to correct it?
