I like the dreamy FX and i would like to apply to a short clip but it has a big X in the middle. What is this x for and how do i take it out? Please make this simple for the simple minded. Thanks again to all the people in this forum who take time for the learners.
I'm not familiar with the software/effect to which you refer, but usually a big "X" indicates that the software hasn't been properly activated, or that it's a demo which can't be used for production until a registration key has been entered.
That's exactly what is happening, it is still in the demo mode.
to enter your serial number (if you have one) just place a
Pixelan Video FX into your timeline (video clip) and the "Video Event FX"
box opens up. Next, click on the Pixelan graphic and another box will
open up and there you can type in your serial number.
Ok i will give it a try. I hope it is the vegas serial number that i need or it maybe just a demo that i have to purchase to be used. Anyway I thank you both.
Ok youknow by now youhave a demo and cant render pixlan effects without purchasing the software. One way to accomplish what you are trying is to copy your clip just the video portion and place it above the existing clip and frame ahead . This creates nice ghosting
