Platinum Edition

I just bought the Platinum edition and installed it. However there are 2 things that does not work:

1) I can capture HD from my HC1 but Movie Studio does not recognize the captured files and won´t take them into the edit line.

2) The included Pixelan Spicemaster SW installs but is not visible in the Movie Studio. It should act as a plug-in. Even if I start Spicemaster separately and drag an effect into Movie Studio it will not accept it.

Register the MPEG plugin, it should open fine. Just to check, I just now put HDV on the Platinum timeline to triple check it.

As far as the plugins, they are showing up fine here, in the Video Effects tab and in the Transition tabs. Have you looked there yet?

Thanks for you interest. I have spent all weekend trying to find out what I did wrong during installation (or did not do). But I have not found any place to register the mpeg2-plugin. Where do I do that?

Also it seems as the spicemaster does not integrate into movie studio. Unfortunately the Plug-in mgr is not active in Platinum edition otherwise I could have used that.

I have put these questions to the Sony support and hopes that they have a support that answers questions (it is not always that way)

for the mpeg plugin you need to actualy USE it before you can register (wierd, i know). Just drop/drag an mpg on the timeline & that hsould help.

where did you install the program (folder) & did you install and Sonic Foundry stuff afterwards?
