Platinum7/DVD Architect 4.0

I downloaded and tried the free trial for Vegas Movie Studio 7.0.....enjoyed it....went out and bought it. I am able to use 7.0, but the DVD architect 4.0 won't download. I am using Vista. It says that the program requires Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or highr. Isn't Vista higher? How come the Movie Studio 7.0 will download but not the DVD architect? If anyone can help me out....please e-mail me: mreyes24@cox.net

Not sure about "Movie Studio" but there's no difference between the trial & update versions of Vegas or DVDA that I'm aware of... IOW should be able to register what you've already got I'd think.

Otherwise if you can't download perhaps contact Sony Media. If it's a matter of installation install as admin in Vista? From what I can recall had one thread where someone said it worked fine that way, one that said the opposite.
