I have 2 discs (each are dual layer) and 1 video on another disc (single layer) that won't play the last chapter of the play all selection.

You can play through the videos and after the next to last chapter you are returned to the main menu. You can skip to the next to last chapter and fast forward to the last chapter and it won't play - you return to the main menu.

All have a play only 1 chapter menu and the last chapter will play from that. They were created as the book specifies - drag/drop the video in a window and then copy the resultent button. Then for each item set the chapter start and end points. They were NOT created using the create chapter menu option - which will start at a chapter and play to the end of the video item.

Has any one else seen something like this?

I can look at the IFO file and see the PGC for the last chapter related to the play 1 chapter menu selection. I can see the PGC for the play all, but it does -not- have the last chater in it.

I have been 'corresponding' with Sony for about 3 months about this and they seem to be un willing to look at the IFO files I sent or those on the DVDs they insisted on having. One of the tech says he sees the problem another says he doesn't.

Any idea how can -I- fix this as Sony appears unwilling to even to look at it correctly.?

PS. Any suggestions on how to get Sony to deal with this.
PPS. Any suggestions as to a viable replacement for Vegas and DVDA - that won't cost a lot and that works? (And that works with RED which appearently Sony doesn't.)
