play back

A dark opaque green interrupts a play back at times, either before I drag it down, or while I play back what I have edited. Very irritating.

What model of camcorder is your video coming from and what format and resolution is it? What are your project properties? Which version of the program are you using and what operating system are you working on? Have you ensured you have the latest version of Quicktime installed as well as the latest driver for your video card from the nVidia or ATI site?
