Play Button On Preview Screen

This is a problem that I have not encountered before when using DVDAS 5.0.

When I open the Preview window and click the Play button on the remote controller on the right side of the screen, the DVD will not play, i.e., I get the circle with a slash through it being displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

However, if I click the Play image that I have inserted on my DVD menu screen, it begins to play normally.

What could be causing the disconnect between the Play image on the menu versus the Play button on the remote control?

Well, I think I figured out what is going on with the Play button on the Remote controller in the Preview window. Looks like that only works after you hit "Pause" or "Stop". In other words, you cannot use it to initiate the initial play of the DVD.

I downloaded some of my previous projects and I found the same issue on those projects. When I navigate to the Play image on the DVD Menu and either click it or hit Enter on the Remote controller, everything plays fine.

I was just mis-interpreting what the Play button does on the Remote controller in the Preview window.
