When I want to double the playback of a clip, in the Parameters panel for the clip I set the “Playback rate” to 2 which I believe skips every other frame resulting in doubling the playback rate. Should I also be adjusting the “Undersample Rate”. Attached is screenshot to help clarify the parameters in question. In case it matters, the original clip is 30fps.

I believe I can get the same double speed result by “Inserting” a “Velocity Envelop” and setting it to 200%. Is there a preferred method to doubling the speed of a clip?
