Playback of Captured Video

Hi Team!

I get full syncronisation of captured footage (and without and jerky stuff) when I play it in Vidcap - 'Play it to Tape' - but not when I import the file under the Main File Drop down menu item (outside of Vidcap appl.)....

Can anyone explain how this can occur?

Do your project settings (in Vegas) match the media you are importing?

Has Vegas completed building the peaks for the imported clips?
