Playback on DVD players?

hey guys...
I got a Sony 500 Au DVDR... ive burned from DVDA rending seperate Videos (both MPG and ac3) in Vegas...

I burn.. its fine.. done fairly quickly.. I can play it back on my computer(s) no problem..

I cannot play on a playstation 2.. ive looked up the specs and my model is supposed to be able to play both DVD-R and DVD+R (which i have recorded both formats)

however when i uses MYDVD it works fine... but not in DVDA..

any thoughts

What brand DVD-R +R are you using; I found Playstation 2's only play the best quality dvd-r's (verbatim, tdk, pioneer, etc.)-generics don't work. Did you use the same brand for both programs?
