a problem we encounter (quite often recently) we have a
matrox digisuite which we capture analogue video with, we drop the clips
into vegas and when we play them back they start for a second then freeze
and then they loop continuosly for 12 frames - when we select ctrl-al-delete
it says that vegas video is 'not responding'

this has happened a few times with files (matrox mjepg and dv) but all used
to be fine.
