Playing T2i footage in Vegas?

I'm trying to play some HD footage captured with a Rebel T2i in Vegas. I can play it fine in the quicktime player but in Vegas it's black with audio. Any ideas? Thanks, Marc

I'd suggest a search since this comes up about once a week. But I'll save you the effort. Upgrade to Vegas 9.0e or back-rev your quicktime to7.6.2.

Problem solved.

Oce that works, you'll have to deal with the poor playback performance and transcoding. So start your forum searches on that now...

I can't say. I am still running 9.0c and QT 7.6.2. Combo works well enough in most cases for me, and I am scared to go forward from here. Others report good results. Most I can say about it.
