playlist not playing..

I create a playlist referencing all the material on the DVD ( a play all button)
previewing the DVD all works
but on all the DVDs I burn on all players it gets to about item 5 and will go no further

all the titles are seperate files

I can't make them in to one and do it by chapters, as they are already mp2s (don't want a quality loss from rerendering into a one file)

what could cause the playlist to not go through its list?

Just came across a similair problem - made a dvd with 6 seperate files and added all of them to a playlist. The playlist worked without problem.

However upon adding a 7th file to the structure AND the playlist, the playlist returns to the menu after the 6th item. Tried various things, erasing the first playlist ,adding another playlist etc. but the dvd playlist will not go any further than item 6.

So yes "what could cause the playlist to not go through its list?"

Rebuild the project and no problems this time with the playlist to play the 7 items.

Still interested to hear if anyone has come across the abovementioned problem and found another solution!
