Some of my clips in the movie has gotten green, The are playing normal but with some sort of green "layer" on them, and some of the clips get more "buggy" the more i watch them, I tryed rebooting, installing the new update and the usual but nothing fixes the prob. Click on the FX botton on your event and choose color correction tools. Try and use these to correct the problem, they work really well and should be able to get rid of the green layer. Worth a shot.

You maybe just need some help on how to use the filters:

http://www.wideopenwest.com/%7Ewvg/tutorial-menu.htm

If exteme, try color covers selecting a single curve. Adjusting the offending primary color or its opposite should get rid of nearly any shading no matter how extreme. I've even taken a near totally dark room shifted way to the blue and brought it back from the dead. Just takes a little practice. If none of that works well enough try using the tricks on my Tutorial # 3.

If on the other hand you see some frames a near solid green or black with lots of pixelation the file may have got corrupted or you're running very low on system memory.

okay but the strange thing is that its not always there, always when I
have just started the program it´s there but after I´ve watcht it a few times in preview it´s gone. I want to add something to.
I´m working on a gaming movie, and when the green layer is there it comes some sort of markings in the green layer after the models when they are running around the map. I really need help with this one please.

What type of file is it? Neither Media Player 9 nor Vegas 4 will open it. What codec did you use?
Walleman wrote on 8/25/2003, 12:57 AM
It´s an xvid file rendered in vegas

Probably not a lot of people have an xvid codec installed. Can you render it to something a little more common like MPEG-1? Then anyone should be able to view it.
