Please help! Audio only in one channel in .mxf!

Dear all,

my documentary movie goes to cinemas and by now is being converted do DCP. But we have one huge problem, the sound is only in one channel instead of two channels so it goes to center speaker only instead of stereo.

I rendered my 4K film to XAVC Intra 4096x2160-23.976p and audio is set to PCM uncompressed 48kHz 16bit 2 Cannels, but when I put the final .mxf file to Medainfo it shows only 1 channel 768kb/s, 48kHz, 16bit PCM.

If I render do 1080p MP4 Mediainfo shows 192kb/s, 48kHz and 2 channels, AAC (LC) so all is ok.

Please how to make 2 channels when rendering to XAVC Intra 4096x2160-23.976p (.mxf) if all is set automatically in the template?

Thank you a lot

Midloch

I did a test render to same XAVC-I type and audio is fine (two channels).

Please check MediaInfo anew. There are two audio streams listed and both of them are "1 Channel". There is "Audio #1" and "Audio #2".

Also - if you rendered to XAVC-I there will be an XML file beneath the MXF file. Open that XML file with your web browser and see what it says about the audio (channels).
