Please Help! Audio Sync/Ext Preview problem

Vegas user 5 year, here. Never had this problem before last night . . .

Audio sync is 19 frames off on external preview - hitting 19 frames before video.

Last night, if I remember correclty, it was hitting 6 frames early

Has anybody seen anything like this before? Is it possible to have external sync drift by varying amounts?

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you are using a Canopus ADVC 110, they can lose sync. If that's the case just press the selection button on the unit to reselect.

Andrew, I am indeed using a Canopus 110. Will give your suggestion a try an report back!

I changed sources from digital to analog, back to digital.

I still have the sync problem.

Did I understand you correctly, that the above is what I needed to do?

Yes, that's what works for me. Only I just change it to analog. then toggle the external preview button in Vegas.

I have been meaning to report this to Canopus for ages.
