When I import footage in Vegas from a D8 camera, I can't use that DV file in Adobe After Effects. I think it has something to do with the codec Vegas uses in import. Is there a way to force Vegas to use a different codec when firewiring footage in? I've tried switching the options to 'use microsoft codec' in the preferences, but so far it's been to no avail. Has anyone else run into this problem?
