I have a SONY Digital8 camera, I Just Bought SONY Vegas Movie Studio 4.0+DVD. After making my first movie I went to Make Move/Burn to DVD and left everything as default in DVD Architect and it seem to burn ok. But it would not play at all in my new SONY DVD Recorder/Player, only 2 months old, Plays in computer but with NO AUDIO. I than burned the project in Nero, It plays in both the computer and my SONY DVD player ,but with NO AUDIO in nether one.
Yes I upgraded Vegas Movie Studio to 4.0a. Can someone please help I.m a beginnerand would apreciate it, I would like to burn my DVDs in DVDA.
Thanks
Rich.

It's possible that you've muted the audio, but failing that go into Preferences and make sure that "close media files when not the active application" is unchecked.

OK...I'd did what you said It was checked...both were bured on DVD+R..would burning on DVD-R make any difference?

It should be unchecked, not checked. The DVD + or - R would't make any difference, but it's probably best if you write your files to HD (via Prepare DVD) while you're fixing this. If you haven't done this already, you can also select a small section of your timeline and render that on its own - it's a lot quicker than doing the entire project every time!

IT WORKED!!...I did uncheck it like you said...I also tried burning to a DVD-R...I don't know what it was but it works and picture quality looks fantastic, looks as good as watching the Digital8 tape itself, and it sounds great...Thanks for your help...
