Please help w/ AAF imp/exp from/to FCP

Posted a while ago about trying to move a project b/t Vegas 6 and FCP. So far I have been able to import an AAF file from FCP HD into Vegas 6. Everything worked fine as far as basic setup, cut, dissolves, etc, which was all I was looking for.
I then exported both an Edit Protocol Compliant AAF" file and an "Avid Legacy AAF" file. Opening either one in FCP caused a crash.
I switched out Vegas's dll file as BJ_M wrote about and tried opening new AAF files from vegas into FCP. Same crash.
Just wondering if anyone's gotten this (aaf export from Vegas 6 into FCP) to work. It sure would be a help to me and the crew I'm working with.
Thanks ahead of time for any experiences, thoughts, or advice!

a sample AAFfile from the AAF.org also caused FCP to crash -- so the problem may be in FCP .... really hard to say ...

B_JM,

Thanks for that info. It at least gives me something to go from. I can see how it's hard to track this down as the problem could be one program's import or another's export.
Just wondering though, did you run that test yourself, or read about it on AAF's site? I just checked out their site at:

http://aafassociation.org/index.html

but couldn't find any specific information. Any info you could give me would help to track down the culprit would be greatly appreciated.

i sent one to a friend of mine along with the source media on a apple formated firedrive ...

it didnt work and I had to do a manual sheet cut list because of a time factor, instead of tracking down the issue .
