Please register Vegas 4

Vegas 4 has a bug that surfaces if you run Vegas 4.0 with a serial # but don't register the app within 30 days. If you time out due to not registering, you'll need to contact SF support for a new serial #- which is a hassle for you, and for us.

To avoid this, please take the time to register next time you run Vegas 4. It is really fast and easy, especially if you have a web connection, and you need to do it anyway, so save yourself some possible headaches and register asap.

We regret the bug. Nothing nefarious going on here- just a bug.

not THAT fast! i dont have an internet connection on my audio pc, as to not use up unnecessary recources. the whole registration thing has been a real hassle for me from the beginning!!!

How come so difficult ? It's as easy as 1-2-3, as they say ....

1 - Choose 'register from another computer', stick in a floppy, hit enter.

2- Take the floppy to another PC with ineterent, and double-click the 'register.html' (or whatever) file. Then save the resultant REG file email attachment on the floppy

3 - Take it back to the other computer, right-click to 'merge' it and Bob's your uncle !

Hell, even typing it out took longer than doing it ( not counting traveling time - my online PC is 10 minutes away from my studio ...)
