Pls Check Thumbwheel Pan/Crop Rotation?

Apologies IF this has been brought up before . . or that I'm doing something wrong.

I'm using the Angle "Rotation" function within Pan/Crop.

I can adjust by directly typing numbers into the Angle box. I can even use the drop down box and use the Slider option. But I can't use my Wheel on my MS Intelli Mouse to rotate using the Slider bar. Here's the thing - I can SEE the numbers being changed using the Mouse Wheel, but this is NOT being transferred to actual Rotation of the Frame in the Frame window. As it happens, I get the same non-rotation using my Contour Shuttle Pro inner wheel.

Will somebody please confirm this is/not happening for them?

I thank you,

Grazie

Not working for me either (Logitech mouse wheel and ShuttlePro2) - but I also can't see the numbers being changed like you can.

Have you tried using the up and down arrows on your keyboard to adjust the rotatation? That works for me.

Cheers

Ok GB . . yeah I understand.

"Have you tried using the up and down arrows on your keyboard to adjust the rotatation?" No I hadn't! And no it doesn't. The UP/DOWN arrows DO make the numbers turn-over but they DON'T make the frame rotate.

Thanks for the quick reply . .

I wonder what others are getting?

If I simply click on the number (do NOT open up the scrollbar) and use the up/down arrows, it will adjust the numbers and the preview window both. I opened the scroll bar and the scroll wheel worked but the screen did not update.

Just got some feedback from jr on the DMN site.

Very worthwhile chewing over . . The Frame IS being rotated BUT in 360 degs lumps - so you DON'T see the rotation - LOL!!

I can have a wheel that CAN only do 360 degs and one CAN'T reduce the rotating effect so one could see the action being created - BUT dragging ( not an intuitive process compared to turning ) DOES show the rotation AND arrow keys that show the numbers changing but NOT the rotation.

What is neat though IS the clicking on the tiny UP and DOWN arrows at the end of the number field to make small increments. I can ALSO do this with my CSP.

But it would be very very nice to be able to use a WHEEL - mouse or CSP - to see a visible rotate option. Wheels=Rotate? A "visible" incremental, rotate.

I'm always looking for ways to make this SUPERB NLE even more intuitive.
