Yes, good stuff - especially with the pics showing favourite settings.

I did a bit of digging but had trouble finding out how much these various plug-ins cost - any idea? (rough ballpark figures would be fine)

well, the waves gold bundle would get you all the waves stuff and that is around $1500 i think. but you get a ton of pluggins. the stuff that he was showing is TDM which is a protools format. if you want these for vegas, you will need DX pluggins. the only way to get the fairchild comp is to use a uad-1. those are around $800, then the fairchild will cost you another $150.

I recently got the Waves Broadcast bundle and it was expensive to be sure. It included the Renaissance plugs he mentions. If you just want individual plugs you can look at the Waves Store

Waves are no big secret of course, but most of those others are only for protools at the moment...

You can get the Fairchild (actually a MUCH better version than BF) on the UAD-1. To get that and waves you're talking a couple thousand $US.
But then we're talking pro stuff and uses. :)

To anyone with a VST wrapper I can heartily recommend the Voxengo stuff. It's a bit unusual in design and interface, but sounds great and is much cheaper than Waves. Their convolution reverb is amazing as is the Curve EQ and the mastering limiter.
