Plugin Rescan after moving Plugins into a (Vegas internal) folder

I stopped using any (audio) plugins in Vegas a while ago, (for various reasons, all posted about in the past). However, after upgrading to v22, I find that the performance is better, so I decided to sit through the 20 minute scan of all my plugins. (Using VST3 locations only).

So here is the issue:

  • Open Vegas 22
  • Go to the Plugin Manager (you can do this in various places, but this is the simplest to explain)
  • Select the folder Audio > All
  • On the top right of the tool bar click the little folder icon with a + sign to make new folder
  • Name the folder something
  • Drag some plugins in to the folder, (repeat this a few times to get your plugins organised)
  • Close the window

A new Plugin Scan happens... Why? All we have done is moved some plugin internally into (virtual) folders, there has been no changes made the location on disk.

And while we are here. Please give us the ability to search the plugin list. :-)

Thank you.
