Hi there! Thanks for your comment on my Ubatuba Intro at Kelly's site (that was just the beginnng - lolllll)...... Anyway, do u have Vision Series? If u do so, why looking for something else? By the way, if you've got msn, pls let me know.

Found a few examples (pictures and ASF files) here:

My opinion? Booaafff... you can achieve most of these "effects" with cookie cutters and crossfades. Not very impressed by the few examples I've seen. Haven't seen any example of v.7 though...

Yow Grazie,

I have vol 7 with the vegas plugin. The plugin also works with previous volumes of their transitions.

At the moment I can't make up my mind what I think about it. Most of the transitions are CG and look a bit cheesy.

There are a few that may come in handy.

The price of each volume of effects is approx $100 or something around that but you can get a discount on buying the volumes in bundles.

Even then the full set is several hundred $ which seems a bit steep.

As I say I can't make up my mind.

Regards, Paul

Cunhambebe : You're welcome! Just the beginning? When will we see the end piece? No I don't have vision series. Don't understand your next comment. I haven't got it and I'm not looking - wanted to know what others had or hadn't . . nothing more nothing less. Why do you want to know if I've MSN?

fUtZ : Yes, I found them a bit later too. I agree with your opnion too .. .

filmy: I haven't the foggiest if it had been "voiced" before. Shame on me for not doing a search before I posted I guess. I appreciate your invitation to me to use the Search button in future. But I guess somebody might have had some up to date info on this one. Filmy, sorry to waste your time . . . ;-)

PAW : Ah! Someone with real World experience. Thanks PAW . . My advice? Keep your money in yer pocket!

Best regards,

Grazie

If you have msn you can add my address and we'll "talk" easier everytime we're on line. You didn't understand my comment...sorry if I didn't make myself clear: that means, I guess you can get Sonic Foundry (ops....SONY) Vision Series, which is much better (I guess) than what you're looking for ;)
Anyway, there may be millions of ways of inserting effects with the regular Vegas transition effects. Have you already tried WinMorph? If u wanna take a look.....

FuTz wrote on 1/11/2004, 1:44 PM

WinMorph's a blessing!
What Vegas needs now (and desperately) is a ***rotoscopy*** application so we can customize cookies, put some effects on a frame to frame basis (or key most part of those). Bezier curves that we could just retouch from one frame to another...
PAW wrote on 1/11/2004, 1:48 PM

it has one

Boris RED does all of the above.

Yep. Now if we could just remove one "0" from the price...

Hey Grazie - waste my time anytime. I don't mind.

Does Boris RED work as a Vegas plug-in or only for after effects?

>>> Does Boris RED work as a Vegas plug-in or only for after effects?<<<

Well, it has a plug-in that allows Vegas to interact with the main program. Ok, that was confusing.
Yes, RedGL (Red 3) will work with Vegas. What it does is allow you to "drop" RedGL onto a clip in Vegas and it will launch the Boris Red program. The downside is you only get to preview one frame (Whatever frame you have the cursor on) in the Red window this way. But once you drop back out into Vegas you can "real time" preivew the effect.

The latest version of Boris Red works within Vegas.

Adorage, produced effects for the Casablanca models in the late 90's.
