Plural Eyes 3. Anyone using it?

I went to the Red Giant website to purchase a copy of Plural Eyes 3 and was surprised that it no longer lists Sony Vegas as a host application. It does say that it can work as a stand alone, and I guess that's not a huge problem but it does seem like a large step down from previous versions that worked so well in the Vegas timeline. I know lots of people here use Plural Eyes, is everyone still using an older version, or has anyone found the stand alone to be a decent solution? Thanks.

I spoke to them about that. Ver 3 only avail for Mac is not avail for Vegas yet. You'll have to purchase Ver2 then upgrade to Ver 3 when it's released. Note, the rep said that the free upgrade form Ver 2 to Ver 3 is only good for 30 days then you'll have to pay for the upgrade. BUT they don't know if Ver 3 for Vegas will be out in 30 days... I'm to sure how strict they are going to be about this policy though.

Ver 2 still works great in Vegas and I am also awaiting Ver 3 so I can upgrade,, not sure why the windows version is taking so long....You can buy version 3 now if you don't own any previous versions and still use it because it includes Ver 2..they will then send you the windows version of 3 for free when its released......

I have been using ver. 1 and ver. 2 for the better part of 3 years. Version 2 works great with Vegas and I have no intention to pay the for the overpriced upgrade.
