In your Vegas project, what are the levels on your output meters? (Never trust your computer speakers.)

What format did you output from Vegas/Movie Studio for DVD Architect?

I bet you're using the AC3 Pro encoder in Vegas?

Use these settings exactly:

Hi MV10, I've been using your settings ever since your post on that thread. What setting would reduce the rendered volume down a bit?

"What setting would reduce the rendered volume down a bit?"

Raising the dialog norm will reduce the volume.
For example, raising it from -31 to -27 will make your program sound 4dB quieter.

Note that things like dialnorm and DRC don't change the actual audio on the disc, they just send flags to the player to adjust the playback.

Thanks for the info MV. I've just noticed that where before using your template I'd have to crank the volume up (waaay up) when switching from TV to DVD player, now I have to turn it down a bit. I'll experiment with say 2db to start with.

Dumb question maybe. Should/can I use these setting when creating a BluRay disc using AC3Pro?

Not a dumb question, and the answer is yes.
You cannot use AC3 Studio for a BluRay.
