Poor Man's Fader

This is one probably for the old timers.

Anyone know of a simple circuit or device that will act as a fader on a composite video output.

I want to use a couple of old, but good quality VCR's to make a copy station. A fader would really be useful. We have a couple of WJMX50's, but I was curious if there was a cheaper, more simple way.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Not really as you want to fade only the video information but leave the sync pulses etc unchanged.
I think you can get procamps that'd do the job. Probably a bit more than you want to pay but they'd give you more control and most have a TBC which would stabilise the image as well.

What part of the world are you in?

If you're in the U.K. I have an old German fader/Scart switcher that I no longer use. (Can't remember the make)

You're welcome to it if you are 'local'

EDIT: It's 240 v.
