pop sound at end of video loop after render

Hey community! I'm having an issue with making a video + audio loop. After rendering a "pop" sound is added at the very end of the audio where it is supposed to loop. So the a jump in the audio is noticed by the popping sound it makes.

To make sure this is not a video player issue I imported the rendered the clip back in to vegas and can confirm that the pop is added into the exported file and that it has resulted in a cut off in the sound on the last 1.5 frames

This is visible in the waveform on the rendered file (see attached picture)

This is happening on Vegas pro 18

Try doing a quick fade out at the end and if you can, a fade in at the beginning.

Yeah, I had tried that as others had also suggested this. Unfortunately that does not fix it. It still adds the 1.5 frame sound cutoff and pop.

Is this an MP3 audio file?

Experiment with the 'Snapping' and 'Audio quick fades' in the "Options" menu'.
Otherwise, render the audio to a new track (Tools menu) as a PCM audio file type and group the picture.
You could also open the audio in an audio editor (Sound Forge) and adjust the head / tail zero crossing points.

These are wave files. But using MP3's gives the same issue.

Turning those options on or off didn't fix the problem. It is important to note that this basically happens with any video I've exported ever. It's just more of an issue now as I need to make seamless looping audio/video content.

I've also set the project properties audio settings to the same hz as the source audio to avoid any mismatch there. (same on the export settings)

This thread and issue is years old, and yet Magix has not resolved it. I'll remember that in the coming weeks when I look for new software - why invest into a platform that the caretaker of, takes no care. Why is this still an issue after so many years? And why doesn't Magix properly address it?

Audio in general is the bastard step-child and is treated as such. As a PSM, I encounter this attitude on-set as well.
