Popping sound

I just bought Vegas Audio LE 2.0 and when I record anything, I get what sounds like static, some sort of electronic "pop". It happens with two different microphones and a cassette player. It only happens occasionally. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Check in the Track FX's and make sure that the Track FX's aren't in Demo mode. If they are, you might need to contact SF tech support to remove the Demo mode of your plugins. If they are in Demo mode, the plugin randomly creates a click. The easiest way will be to go to the Track effects and remove them.
